This training course, lasting 105 hours, enables new recruits to acquire the skills required for aluminium joinery. Whether you used to be a baker, salesperson or fisherman, everyone can try their luck - all you need is to like handywork!
This training workshop aims to prepare you for intense seasonal activity, generally occurring from March to September. Our training centre also helps us look ahead in terms of recruitment, and spread out hiring throughout the season.
Following your three weeks’ training, Cadiou will offer you a six-month contract. This fixed-term contract can be renewed and may turn into a permanent position.

We offer an hour-long tour, during which we introduce the company’s various departments and show you how production is organised.
Following the tour of the company, if you are interested in the training workshop, you will be asked to sit an aptitude test.
- Practical part : assembling a side gate using a manual
- Theoretical part : logic test
For three weeks, you will then be trained within Cadiou as an Aluminium Assembly joiner. You will switch between theory and practical situations.
Every week, trainees will discuss and assess the week’s work with the instructors and a member of Human Resources.
This course will be conducted in partnership with Pôle Emploi (French Unemployment Office), as part of an AFPR (Training Course Prior to Recruitment).
- Company culture
Being aware of and assimilating the work environment, and absorbing the company’s culture.
- Calculations, measurements and plan reading
Being proficient in calculations, measurements and plan reading.
- Cutting and machining materials
Learning to adjust and use the cutting and machining centres.
- Assembling and installing gates
learning to assemble gates, side gates and barriers using the assembly diagrams:
standard or non-standard gates, tailor-made aluminium gates.
- Quality standards and LEAN methods
Complying with the quality standards implemented by the
company and familiarising yourself with the LEAN method.
- Safety standards
Knowing and implementing the company’s safety standards (importance of wearing personal protective equipment, complying with the ground markings).
- Gestures and postures
Knowing what gestures and postures are suitable, to minimise the risk of work-related diseases or accidents.
